Question Scrapin too fast????

I was wondering if anybody else out there has this problem... When I scape around 35 MPH and over, after about 50 feet one tire kicks up and almost throws my quad over on top of me. I welded a piece of angle-iron steel on the grab bar to scrape with, but I never had a problem with it untill last night. Could it be my tire pressure?

could it be the road?? i dont think i understand your problem...one of your tires hopes only when your scrapin fast?? maybe tire pressure, or one wheel isnt completely on your axle?? i dont know, i have scraped faster than that i think..wide open third wheelie then shift into fourth and pull it back to scrape almost to a stop and i havent had that problem...could you describe it more??

Almost sounds like your scrape bar is catching on something???

By the way, you guys have no business scraping that fast anyway...it's just wrong .

Yeah Mike...Coffey told me that story....sounds like it hurt like a *****. I've come off my EX in 3rd gear on a dirt road and that was bad enough. Plus I'm sure John didn't land like a feather either .

That's gotta hurt.

hazen....

Hey Hazen... try taking you wallet outta your pocket before you ride. Sounds like the weight is off-setting the quad... causing it to wobble. Also, make sure you have the right nad in the right pant leg and the left nad in the left pant leg. This will help even the load and prevent future problems.

same might apply to me. I had my **** tied around my left leg. Must have weighted me down - cause it tossed me off the left side. Damn, should have thought of that....

Tire pressure, body position even axle allignment can come into play. Scraped in 5th and 6th gear a bunch, it did kick on me once but i was leaned right trying to look where i was going. ( or it coulda been the same problem 1000ceecee was having):D
