Anyone with an F4 ever try upgrading to F4i injecters??

I have a hookup and want to replace my carbs, but before I swap the whole motor I want to see if anyone has just replaced carbs/injecters.

same idea, different bike. same result.

 

f4i doesnt have carbs, it has throttle bodies. what can you get? wiring, computer, throttle bodies, fuel rail, injectors, etc... ?

 

Yea, you'd have to revamp the whole bike. The electronics are much more complex

 

not really complex if you can get EVERYTHING including a harness and such from an f4i. hell the price difference between the 2 is minimal, sell yours to a newbie and buy an f4i

 

I know if I do a whole motor swap it would work. If i call honda they will probably give me the safest answer possible which is no or "have you seen our new F4I's on the show room floor.. blah blah"

I believe the guy has the whole bike, maybe I could just get him to switch motors for a decent price.
