Need help with nohanders

I got slow **** on lock, I can roll them about 5-10 mph. sitting and standing. The problem is I have to keep feathering on and off the throttle, I tun the idle up to about 4 grand, but if I don't feather the throttle it will bogg down and shut off. I'm -2 and +9 in the rear. That should be plenty of gear. I have allready by passed the tip over switch and still it wants to cut out at 12 when I don't work the throttle. If someone has any advise, please give it up!

Well, I cant offer you any advice but I hope you wont mind a question. How does your 600 do with that gearing? Like on the freeway at about 80 or 100 mph, what does your rpms stay around? I have a 99 f4 with -2 and have been thinking about going +8 on the rear. But the guys that I ride with always ride at about 100mph. So I just wondered what I can expext for rpms versus actual speed on the freeway at about 100.

Thanks for any help and sorry I couldnt help you out.

It pretty much sucks at high speeds, I was 1 down 9 up before and I tested the top speed and it red lined 6th gear at about 145 mph, When I was doing about 80 it was at 11,000 rpm. it can't be very good for the bike to be at such high rpm's for a long time. I don't do alot of joy riding so it doesn't bother me. If you are concerned about it I would ether not do it or get another bike for joy rides.

Unless there is a prob with the bike you shouldn't have to touch the gas with the idle @ 4g..especially with that gearing. If the bike is fine I would think u have to work on being smoother on the brake.

i run 3500 rpm.

and ya, you have to be smoother on the brake. if you have to touch the throtlte then you are pushing too hard on the brake. it takes time, keep working on it.
