learn 12's sitting or standing
learn 12's sitting or standing
i see that alot of you guys stand when doing 12's with your left foot on the back peg
is that better than sitting when trying to learn or is it that you just feel more comfortable standing

learn sitting first. standing is eaiser but then u almost have to relearn how to 12 sitting. After I pretty much learned sittin it took bout 20 minutes to 12 standin

DITTOZ.
sorry, i'm the opposite, i think sitting is harder. you have less leverage with the bike and it's not as easy to save. i learned standing and i'm just now working on sitting....i can't get my side to side balance very good with sit downs.
if you have someone that can help you in person, let them show you how they do it and learn like that so they can give you pointers....that will help you the best.
also, whichever you feel more comfortable with, i never do sitdown highway stuff, always stand up, so i'm more comfortable that way.
take it slow and learn at your own pace, no need to rush and get into accidents cause you tried too hard.

opposite of who? hehe.. Sitting is harder for sure... thats why they say to learn sitting first. I suck at sitdowns cause they are hard for me to control wobble wise. I have always sat far back and leaned way back when doing them though. After reading the other post on sitdowns on here I am gonna scoot up in the seat some and try again tonight. If the rain stops.
