ridin tha brake

i'm tryin slow wheelies like everyone else, but i've already proved my instinct is to jump off, not hit the brake............ anyone with tips on how to train myself to use the brake???

just remember that if your doing a slow wheelie the bike isn't going to flip backwards. Also every time you bring a slow wheelie down use the rear brake to bring it down so that you build up a habit of hitting it correctly

at what point do you hit the brake? on the way up or at the BP?

Really you need to be hitting the brake only after the balance point. Once you get past the bp the bike will slow down. You should just be using the brake to keep it from scraping.

The problem is that it's easier said than done. It took me a long time to get smooth with the brake. You just gotta keep working on it. You'll get there.

thanks guys i think i'm gonna run out and try em with my foot in the rear seat hole, trunk whatever...you know what i mean

i just got on a quad and started figuring it out. bam, about an hour later, slowin the quad down to walkin speed. it transfers to the bike, but its takin me alot longer.
