Question Learning to Stunt

Ok, I know this is really stupid, but I need to ask. How long did it take you to overcome the fear of crashing when you first started stunting? I think I have the concepts of stunting down, but I can never get the guts to start practicing. I have an '02 GSXR 1000 so any time I go to crack up a wheelie, the front wheel comes up really really fast. And then just over a year ago, I flipped an endo and smashed my foot. I just want to be able to go out, practice, and learn some basic tricks to start. Does anyone have any suggestions on how or what I can do to get over that fear and begin practicing?

i grew up racing MX so i never really had that fear. i just do'nt think about it. Just remember never try to save the bike, save yourself.

you'll get over that fear once you loosen up and start practicing. it's not that bad.

Thank you for the replies, I appreciate it. When you guys are riding endos or wheelies, is there a way to judge what the proper height is? When I try doing an endo, I get on the brakes hard, but the moment the back tires comes up, I have no idea how high it is, so I can't judge how much harder I have to hit the brakes. Same thing with wheelies, The front wheel comes up, but I can't tell how high it is. I start them in 2nd and pull and crack the gas at the same time, but I never know how high they will come up. Is it easier to clutch it up? And if it is, about what RPM do you clutch it up at? Sorry for the dumb questions, I just figure you guys would know better than anyone else. Thanks.
