clutching wheelies on f4i
Ok so im tryin to clutch wheelies on an F4i. I have tried it in 1st and 2nd gears and i go up to like 5k rms and i use one finger to pull the clutch in, the clutch disengages, and i rev to about 7k.
Now should i be using higher RPMS?
1st gear instead of second?
and lastly do i just let go of the clutch after my rpms go up, or let it out smoothly?
thanks

Ok so i'm not an expert but I have been working on my clutch wheelies hard the last week. On my 600rr i'm rolling around 10mph, rev'ed up around 10,500 and barely letting the clutch grab before releasing it.
I roll at about 5mph, clutch, rev to ~8k, then let clutch out... and away i go on one wheel
it takes lots of pratice.... just take baby steps.. try starting in first, and clutching at low RPM (4k, 5k).. then progressivley get them higher... it's better to do a 2" wheelie then loop it..
you want to let the clutch out fast AND smooth.. if you just dump it, your bike's gonna bog, too slow and your bike won't come up.. pratice pratice pratice.....

Hey man i have a F4i also and i love doing wheelies on it but you dont need to cllutch it in second unless you are doing sitdowns. if so do anout 45 to 50 and pull the clutch and take it to redline and let the clutch out fast. i know it sounds bad but it works try revving it to like 10 or 12 first then go to redline and you will get wheelies real easy its a great bike
