I know it's really ghetto but i'm so desperate to find out whats wrong with my bike I thought I'd give it a shot. I have a 2001 f4i doesnt run it won't spark cranks all day. Ive done everything I can think of and it hasnt been fixed.

Anyways what im wondering is since I dont have a gauge cluster and I wanna run a code to see whats wrong. Could I just attach a bulb of some sort to the White/Blue wire thats in the black plug that goes to the gauge cluster? and then jump the plug by the ECM for codes and will that bulb light up like the gauge cluster would?
