has anyone ever removed the ignition to their gixxer or any motorcycle, i found a locksmith that will make me a copy of the bike i just need to get the ignition to them its the cheapest way to do it...i havent taken a good look at what i have to do but does anyone have any suggestions?

 

take the top triple off,unplug harness..done

 

gotta lift the tank to get to the harness.

 

how much are they charging you. i have an 04-05 with key...

 

$60 if i bring the ignition in, some crazy number if they have to come out

I lost my keys few months back and locksmith has helped me getting the new keys.
