neutral shifts

I have completely given up on bringing up 1st gear wheelies on my f4 because half the wheelies i do will end up in me shifting into neutral when i switch from 1 into 2. Even if i boot that bitch up as hard as i can she still comes slamming down in neutral... Do i just suck or what ?

dude, just bring 'em up in second.....no need to shift first-second gear, your bike will clutch up no problem in second gear.

also be careful with your gearbox.....im guessing when you hit neutral, you come down and have a hard time getting into second? if its grinding, pull in the clutch and slow down, find the sweet spot or slow waaaay down and get back into first.

my R6 is hard to get back into second from neutral (like when i wheelie in second and accidentally kick neutral on the way back down or when im downshifting to a light and hit neutral and the light goes green all of a sudden, damn i hate that)......usually i pull in the clutch, slow it down, hit the brake hard and try and bang second back in quick...otherwise it grinds like a bitch, dunno why this works, but it seems to work well for me (kickin it in while the bike jerks from braking)

1st to 2nd isnt easy in a wheelie......2nd to 3rd is much easier to kick. clutch that beyatch up in second, save your tranny.

the best way to get rid of that problem is lowering your shifter.
