Re: neutral light on 03 636

its ur neutral indicator switch. it just is having good contact in the switch. or u have a bad connection. all the neutral switch does is ground out and complete the circuit allowing all the power the starter solenoid. sound like a lot but it is super simple

yes u can bypass the clutch switch by plugging it of and place a 10 amp fuse in the two thing that comes of the clutch trigger and the stand switch is a connector somewhere down where the stand is suppose to be a green one just unplug it and should be fine and oh u need to connect the wires together on the stand switch to bypass it lol

neutral switch is normally a green or black wire that runs to the back bottom of your motor, single wire.. it basically goes to your gears shift drum.. just try to tighten the switch up a little bit, but it can be gear shift dram wear n tear

Neutral indicator is usually located under the throttle bodies right on top of the tranny with two wires coming out if It

Re: neutral light on 03 636

so what would make it where it will only start when the nuetral light is on? The bike will physically be in nuetral but the light is a bitch to get to stay on long enough to start and i used to just start it in gear but since this all started it wont start in gear with the clutch in. so i guess im confused on what it would be. im new to this bike and relatively new to working on them

Re: neutral light on 03 636

i think if you bypass your clutch safety switch you should be good , there are two wires that go to the switch on your clutch lever just connect them
