On my 01 f4i, my FI light stays on even while the bike is in gear and riding..

I tried to reset it according to the service manual but it won't reset (it doesn't stay lit for 5 seconds or whatever, completely shuts off when I re-jump it)

The bike runs fine and is giving no other codes. When I put the kickstand down it just stays lit, no blinking.

This happened I beleive because here in Egypt I took my bike to a body shop to get them to install some ebay fairings and when they did they mixed up one of the harnesses. When I got there the tach wouldn't even come on, and with the key in the off position just the FI light was on. I found the mixed harness and corrected it (a black and grey harness of the same size, ******* morons. I don't get why you would think black goes with gray but whatever)

Is this most likely a faulty ECM? if so, what exactly is faulty? bike is running fine..
