F4i Idle Problems

Need some help. I have an F4i that sometimes won't hold idle. First couple of sessions of the day it runs fine and pulls good on idle, it will also keep a consistent idle. After the third or fourth session the idle starts getting sporatic, if I put it at 3000 rpm it will drop to 1500 to 2000 after each wheelie and I have to adjust it again. Small increments of adjustments on the idle will make it jump from 2k to 3k which is annoying because I like it at 2500 for circles.

It only allows me to be at either 2000 rpm or 3000+, no where in between. The thing that is the most confusing is that it will ride perfect for the first hour I'm riding in then it will run like ****. It will literally pull like a tractor then later on I will have almost no idle to work with. I pretty much can't turn circles after it falls off...

Here are some notes and things I have ruled out...

The temperature stays consistent at about 180-190

Changed the plugs this morning and nothing changed

I am using a second idle adjustment on the front of the throttle bodies

I recently switched the tank and fuel pump

Its like the choke gets turned on?

Re: F4i Idle Problems

clean your airfilter maybe...that wouldnt really cause the bike to do it after an hour though....but try it anyway
