wave rotors?
wave rotors?
alright my stock rotors are warped and pulsate and it pisses me the hell off and cramps my style!!! nobody shop will turn or cut them for me. i have always been hell bent on stock rotors and stock pads and never had a problem with that combo. but new ones are wayyy expensive. and off ebay u dont know what u get. so what about say galfer rotors or braking rotors with stock pads? how do those workout? i dont think i want to go with any fancy pads. 1 time i tried ebc hh pads and hated them to death and said **** aftermarket pads. after replacing my rear rotor its smooth as butter and i love it and want my front rotors to be the same.
Re: wave rotors?
I hear wave rotors are great
but, I also purchased "used f4i rotors" off ebay when my f4i had about 14k miles on it (oem rotors were warped to ****)
now at 35k miles, still on the used ebay rotors I got for $120

Re: wave rotors?
i might just get ebc rotors from hai and a fresh set of oem honda pads
160 bucks seems to be okay on the price compared to the shopping around i've done.

what really pisses me off is how nowone will turn (cut) bike rotors. even getting them done for your car now is tough because they want to make money and sell you new rotors. for bikes their excuse is that they are too thin and it would be unsafe. but bike rotors have a specified minimum thickness. the way i see it is that as long as you exceed that minimum thickness you are good. car rotors are not that expensive but bike rotors are insane.

But on a newer modern sport bike, where the brakes see tons of heat, the last thing you want is less metal there to dissipate the heat..
