i had my 01 f4i out for a ride today and it just died on me when i was just cruising down the road. i pulled off into a parking lot and sat for a few minutes tried to start it back up and it started for about 5 seconds and then shut off. i turned the bike off and back on then and the fuel pump was not running when it should have been. i then sat for a few more. turned the bike on and the fuel pump worked again but the bike would not start. so im not sure if the fuel pump is going bad, or is bad, or what any other considerations would be. when i turn the key on the fuel pump works runs sometimes but not everytime. so let me know if anyone has any help for me i am stuck for now not knowing the exact problem other than i am pretty sure it is not getting gas to the motor. so any help is good help! Thanks!

 

I guarantee you ran out of gas. Classic symptoms.
