Clutch Replacement

Searched couldn't find anything.

Just got my first stunt bike (F4I) and the damn clutch went out . How hard is it to replace a clutch, I have never replaced one before so I have not the slightest clue on how to do it.

Also anyone have an F4I service manual laying around they could email to me, im sure that would be alot of help.

Thanks guys

Re: Clutch Replacement

Clutchs are not that bad of a job On the RH side of your bike just pull the clutch cover off, You will see a basket of many plates bolted on your flywheel. remove the basket springs and all, Start to replace your old plates with your new ones, The plates do go back in order so take note of the way you take the old ones out of the basket, Also remember to soak your new plates in oil befor installing them. If your springs look shot i would replace them also. Some clutch kits come with them already. If you could get your hands on a manual of course it will help but you will be suprised how easy the job is!

Re: Clutch Replacement

just a little advise not knowing your mechanical ability , make sure your clutch cable is properly adjusted , i have seen many people replace clutch fibers then adjust the cable too tight and smoke a brand new clutch ...
