im gettin ready do to this on my f4i so ill be checking in.


if i get another stock one will all i have to do is take the old one out then replace with no adjustments?

OP - you are aware there is a site glass on the side of the bike for the oil level and not to be measured while its on the kick stand?


did you bottom the CCT all the way out? how can you see little black pieces, did you take the valve cover off? Little black pieces could be RTV from the gasket or that someone had the CCT way to tight and the chain was digging into the guides.

The valve cover has to be off and the cam gears need to be zip tied to the chain only when the CCT comes out to prevent the cam from jumping a tooth....

Didn't see the part where you asked about oil level until now. If you have no clue on how to check the oil level than the CCT repair should be done by a shop!

Yes I know Its On the side, And No SHi* it doesnt Read On the Stand,

the Valve cover was off, The Black Peices were from the Chain Guide,

And I already have the CCt in, I was asking how to asjust it....
