03 Gix 6 SF... Was full fairing, ran great (just got it.. 1st ride) Coverted 2 SF for learning curve.. (important cuz i cut the pipe and reloc the ign into the right ram air duct in the frame) Point is, ran great 1st sunday out... Stripped the bike of the plast and reloc the ign.. Took it out the followin Sunday, ran the bike fine for about 3 hrs (clutchin bp sitdowns from 2-3mph) Slowly started losin power (temp was normal 180-200) Wont hit rev lim... horrible flat spots at like 9k then 10k and wont move past 12k... Im thinkin dirty fuel pump sock, clogged injector, fouled plug... ect. No FI light... Prob is no garage and boss wont let me werk on it at the shop any more. Before i drop it off at the local speed shop and spend an *** load of diag. $ - Has ANYONE had this prob ?? Any ideas.... Thanks!

And NO, im not gona replace it with a F4I or 636 right now

sounds kinda like the fuel pump IMO

 

My gixx750 did the same. Turned out to be fouled plugs.

 

makes some sense you did take up a good portion of the air intake volume stuffin that ignition in there....probabably did foul em out soaked with fuel, try plugs or else

FIXED - One of the Dual Connector fuel lines had gotten kinked ... After ridin few a few hours, as it got hot, it fused itself together at the kink.... So as it buildt pressure at higher revs the line collapsed and restricted fuel. Soooooooooo, just thought id let u guys know. Thanks 4 the help
