ok im new to the streetbikes but allways wanted one and a few months ago picked up a 2003 gsxr 1000 for a good deal, story on the bike was someone pissed someone off and the bike fell victom to being kicked over, gas poured on it and lit it on fire. only real damage was melted wiring so the owner at the time micky moused the wiring with tape and road it for about six months that way till i bought it off him. i bought a new main harness and a new lock/ignition set put everything on and now the bike wont run. its been sitting for roughly 6 months total now and would like some help if possible.

i ran the codes in dealer mode and this is what i got

Found these online, C13 wasnt listed but I can get ya that one when I get home and look it up in the manual.

C28 - SECONDARY THROTTLE VALVE ACTUATOR
C29 - SECONDARY THROTTLE POSITION SENSOR

You need to recheck your wiring and also get a manual and start reading.

 

thanks bro, i forgot to mention that it turns over but will not fire. theres no spark but the pumps prime

 

ive looked over the wiring and cant find anything wrong, its pretty straight forward green plug to green plug, red plug to red plug im not sure if theres some kinda relay or switch that might be bad thats why i posted cause maybe someone here has had this same problem

 

C13 is the Intake Air Pressure Sensor

If you are gonna fix all this urself I would highly suggest buying the factory service manual from a dealer cause it'll have all the specs you need to fix this stuff
