RPM's not dropping fast enough.....please help

I recently did a valve adjustment on my F4i. I read that it is a good idea to sync the throttles at the same time. Bought myself a synchronizing tool and tried synching the throttle. Didn't have much luck as cylinder 3 was higher than the others and would't adjust down far enough.....well I tried to get them close and gave up on the whole thing. Put everything together and took the bike for a drive. Everything seemed find except the RPM's down drop fast enough. Especially when I'm reving the engine to 2000-4000 rpm's.....also doesn't nearly engine brake as much as it used to....seems like the bike is getting a little bit of throttle even though I have the throttle closed.

Now, my cable is NOT the problem. I adjusted it so there would be a TON of play and it didn't make a difference. I tried to sync the throttles again, but again I got it close, blipped the throttle and it would be out again....****. Still, the throttle was out of sync before I started the whole procedure....and it used to drive PERFECT. What is going on with my bike???

Thanks in advance.

(sorry about the length)
