Exclamation this is pissing me off!!!

hey peeps, I'm doing 1st gear wheelies on my 02 R6(+2 in rear) and I ride them out ok....some times...but when I bring her down, almost everytime I hit the throttle again and I get jerked back Sometimes I feel like I'm getting thrown off the effin bike!!! I want to bring it up and feel confident I can bring her down smooth. What the **** am I doing wrong? Should I be covering the clutch? I like doing 1st gear wheelies, but I'm losing my confidence Guys help me out here.
****, I need to learn 2nd gear wheelies

What do you mean by jerked back??? When you are setting them down are you letting off the throttle completely and slamming the front end down ? or easing it down?? be more specific..

most of the time I'm 'Slamming the front end down'. When I power up in 1st gear it's never, 'ok I'll put the font end down now'. The front comes down pretty violently. It's like I don't have any throttle control after the front comes down. I don't know. I thought maybe someone out there had experienced this starting out doeing wheelies. L8r

yeah, what's happening is he's runing out of RPM's in 1st so the front end drops back down (it does it pretty quick when that happens) and when he goes down the force is twisting his wrist.

It happened to me when I 1st started out too. You can either start clutching up your wheelies or make a point to not let your wrist turn when you come down. I might have actually started twisting my wrist up when I was comming down to prevent that or I leaned fwd or something....can't remember. I always cluch or bounce em up now.
