high chair stoppie

ok i did my first high chair stoppie/cross over stoppie whatever you call em, and it felt like i was slidin onto the windscreen and off the bike. and i don't do em to fast so when i drop em down it feels like im gonna fall over, i gotta gas it quick before i fall. it was pretty uncomfortable, just like a new trick should be, but i was wonderin if anyone has any advice, i was thinkin about some grip tape

Dent the tank or shop for a cheap one on Ebay, then dent it! Griptape tears the **** out of your jeans after awhile!

dent the tank.

and do them higher speed.....like every stoppie it's easier at a higher speed. I see all these kids asking me about stoppies yet they get going 20mph then jam teh brake and once they are like 1/2 mph they finally pull the rear up then fall over. Get going like 30 at least and pull it up quick so when you roll out you can set it back down and still have like 10mph so you can ride away just fine. makes it much much easier

use the line between your windscreen and tank as a seat and lean back, this will put your body more upright so the bike will come up higher and you won't feel like your getting dumped off the bike

This is the way I do it and I've hit 130 ft stoppie this way

Dude, I have only tried it once and it was a disaster. I told my boys the usual line. One of you stand here and the other stand here. Catch it if I am falling. Well, that didn't work. I came in pretty hot. As soon as I hit the brake, the back came up, then the front tire started wobbling and through me off like a highside and went running. Sucky think about this one is you need to keep you front fairing and stay on to pull it off. Well the odds of you or me breaking it while wrecking on this one are really good. And that part is expensive. I would like to try it again, but would not like to wreck again.

in pa we call this trick the leg breaker

this trick scares the **** out of me. 145 mph wheelie no problem ,high chair stoppie big problem. i flipped the first one i tried right over. the second one i tried was at the starboyz stunt comp the other week. i almost went down the mountain at the end of the track, decided to dump it and save some of my bike and body instead.
my teammate crashed one that day and his freakin bone stuck out his leg. my other teammate crashed on two weeks before and broke his leg.
i'm not trying to discourage you but it is easy to crash doin this trick. go to our website , we have two or three good ones,.
if you are riding an r6 i would suggest, if you don't already have one, spending some loot on a GOOD stabilizer...you have a bike that is very light and twithcy in the front end
i hope you get them , they do look sweet as hell. good luck
