stick with mine or buy a new bike?

i have a 2001 gsxr 600. i have been riding for about 2 years now and i want to get stuntin. would it best to keep my bike and gear it down? or would it be better to sell that and get something bigger? if so is there a certain bike that is best for stunting on? or is it all just personal preference? im new to all this so let me know, thanx - bryan

your bike is fine but don't be surprised to see the tabs on the back of the frame break off if you start doing bar tricks. take off your plastics save em or sell them and use the money to buy a cage, dampner and a case of beer for your local welder

true, but this thing is my bike now has alot of cosmetic things done to it so id rather not trash it. i was thinking about getting a cbr 900 or 929 that already has some cosmetic damage and just use that to stunt on. . .or should i just learn onmy 600?

maybe you would be better offwith a beat up gixer swiching around bikes isn't easy for everyone. if you don't want to damage your bike don't stunt it

No doubt.. The gixxer frames are crap. I have had mine welded so many times. I am gonna have some huge reinforced ghetto nasty subframe tabs welded on when mine bust. I have already had to weld my frame 3 times under the tank and under the steering head. If you stunt on a gixxer, you always have to check your frame so you can catch the cracks early cause if you dont catch them they turn into big cracks real fast.

I made that same decision last year, my bike was so clean, not a scatch on it. I had a dark smoke windscreen, full akrapovic evolution exhaust, undertail, hugger, flushmounts, etc etc... Just sell all that pretty stuff off. I would ebay off the entire set of bodywork as a package, you can get anywhere from 800 to 1500 if you let the tank and everything go. Buy a ratty upper and tail for 50 to 100 bucks, you can get a tank with some dings in it for around 100. Sell your exhaust and go back to stock, sell all of the aftermarket crap you put on it and have at it. That is the same bike I am stunting right now and it does the job well.
