question on sprockets???

what is the purpose of the larger sprockets w/ 50+, and 60 teeth? LMK thanks, going to replacing rear, and need to know if their is a large scale difference or not..

Its like rotating mass, lets say your sprocket is exactly half the size of the wheel (50 tooth), the sprocket must turn twice, to turn the wheel wonce. If the sprocket was a quarter the size of the wheel (25 tooth) it would have to turn 4 times to turn the wheel wonce.

So the larger rear sprocket will make it easier to do wheelies, because it creates more low end power. It also has to do with what front sprocket your running.
