sprockets

JUst got a 93 katana 750 the other week. Im I know this bike is to heavy to do stuntin. But its all i could afford. Could anyone help me out with finding out what sprocket combination i should go with to help out with wheelies. I can get it up fine starting off in 1'st gear but all the other gears its a little difficult. Would 5 up in the rear be to much.

Yo I got the same bike, and I've had a couple different sprockets on it. The stock 15/47 is ok if you only wanna do first gear wheelies. 5 up is good for stunting. Much better for slow ****, and with some practice you'll be able to get it up all the way in 2nd. Top speed will come down to about 130. Right now I'm running -1 +2 (14/49) which is the same as +5. Its pretty good for stunting, tho I'm thinking about switching to 15/55 because the 14 tooth kills chains pretty quickly.

sweet, thanks a lot. I was thinking last night if i should do the -1/+2 last night. so im glad you told me about the chain. My biggest thing is being able to pull it up in second. For the slow ****, i can clutch it up and use the brake to slow me down. Im hoping the sprockets are gonna help me out
