i put some vortex clip ons on an 03 r6, the only prob is i want them set as close to straight as poss. but doing that means i cant tighten the bottom mounting bolt on the clip ons, will i damage the forks if i tighten the **** out of it and then slide into postion on the fork? i dont want to gouge the **** out of them, they are fine now for just cruising but if you reef on them they slide, its not a fun thing.
