R6 rectifier
R6 rectifier
If the plug that plugs into the rectifier is burnt some, does that mean its my charging problem im having? I just have to make sure i have a good battery before i put the new rectifier in, right? Then im good to go...yea?
Re: R6 rectifier
Its most likely just a bad Rect/Regulator but your stator can be shot too, its rare but it does happen. Even if the stator is good you have to change that Rect/Reg and the melted connector and make sure you have a good contact there....
Re: R6 rectifier
So I used this to help me out testing everything w/ a multimeter....
http://www.chainstretcher.com/motorc...%20finding.pdf
and from what it told me to do, i need to change my stator.
So i pulled my stator cover off, and visually, everything looks fine, the plug or the stator look brand new, nothing burnt looking or anything. The only thing that shows something is fucked up is my rectifier/regulator that is burnt at the connector........
