636 clutch cable?

636 clutch cable?

every aftermarket clutch perch will fray my cable and make it eventually snap.(except asv). the moose and msr will everytime.Just took my asv off and put the moose back on and within a couple of days that ***** is all frayed up.Yes, i lube my cables and all that. WTF?????

file down the area on the pearch. roll it so no edges hit the cable.

i had been thinking of that.I wish the asv was easier to pull.

Shorten the barrel its prob too long and makes the cable kink inside the lever, also I see people do this all the time. The slot in the barrel that you use to put the cable on should never face towards the rider, never! If it does the cable is constantly rubbing in and out of the barrel through that slot. Up is fine sown is fine away from the rider is fine......Towards you will eat a cble up in no time....

You are doing something wrong thou as Ive been using MSR's for 2 years and only broke 1 cable, but I do shorten the barrels on em cause their too long and kink the cable........
