need help f4i clutch

need help f4i clutch

My clutch began to slip.....so i replaced the clutch plates anout a month ago....last week it started slippin again...someone told me check the friction plates they could be glazed....so i pulled them out...put woolbrite to them until i could feel the divits..........its better but still slippin....i adjusted the cable at the cover....it is almost adjusted all the way forward....ALOT BETTER.....but again still slippin.....I didnt replace the springs....could this have somthin to do with it???? need some expertise please

you have a little slop in your clutch line? you lever should have a little free play before it grabs.

some one in the other forum told me to replace the plates....there is a little play in the lever....what do you mean by slop?
