Fuel Pump not Priming

When I turn the key on, or the rocker on the grip that should tell the fuel pump to come on, nothing's happening. The battery's a little low but I don't think that's the problem. It's not the fuses, I checked those. It did rain on the bike for about 3 hours this morning, but it's not the first time the bike's gotten rained on. Any suggestions?
it's a 2004 GSRX600

I'm thinking about swapping fuel pump relay's with a friend here to see if that's the problem.

Re: Fuel Pump not Priming

check your fuel lines are not kinked or blocked, when my pump would not prime it turned out they had kinked a hose when they took the tank off.

Re: Fuel Pump not Priming

jump the wire in the kill switch to make sure the switch is working, on suzuki's when you hit the switch the fi reading on the lcd display should toggle to the temp.... er something like that, if nothing changes the switch may be bad

Re: Fuel Pump not Priming

friend of mine here told me to clean both the ignition and the kill switch with electonics cleaner, which I did. Nothing happened. It turns over fine, I could pull a plug to see if it's sparking, but I don't see much reason, because there's no fuel anyway.

clutch switch is jumped. it might be the kickstand switch but the bike always started whenever I tried to, so I don't know
I'm going to check for spark today and see if I have any.

Re: Fuel Pump not Priming

I say check the wire running to the regulator/rectirier and also to the fuel pump relay. That connector before the reg./rec. has a tendency to burn out.
