clutch too hot? and other heat issues

hey im a newb still trying to hit BP and i got a couple of questions about heat..

first is sometimes my clutch feels like its getting too hot.. and getting soft.. I just swapped out my disks and my old one where completly gone.. i dont know if that was just from the bike bing 7 years old or my shitty clutch work.. so do i need to give my clutch some time too cool??

AND my bike gets super hot and i am going to wire in a switch to my temp sensor for my fan. will that help with the cooling of the clutch and does anyone else do that?

3rdly.. I got tired of 50$ sinthetic oil changes considering it seems like i have to open my bike up every 3 weeks.. so i went back to mineral oil... but i know its not as good for heating.. does it really make that big of a deal..
