Put a new tip sensor on it for that bike. That's the first thing I'd look at. Sounds like same problem I've had on 2 636's. It was tip switch on all of em.

Is it getting spark? Check that, if it is then its not the tip switch.

The fuel pump wouldnt prime if it was your tip over sensor, and it wouldnt turn over either...Its something else

Thats funny my 636 and every FI bike Ive worked on the ECU will not turn on the fuel pump or turn over the engine when the tip over switch is tripped.... Its basically a kill switch

If I drop my 636 and dont pick it up right away I have to turn the key on and off a few times to prime it up before it will start again.....

Re: 03 636 wil not kick over

johnny is right... it's not the tip over sensor if the fuel pump primes... might need new coil packs... is it throwing any codes? that's the best way to find out the problem.. ecu could be fried

I disagree, only because my fuel pump would come on and bike would crank just no spark.

Bought a new tip sensor and wah Lah...she started.
