Info on the gtech adapter???

I had a quick question about the gtech. Is there some kind of check ball or valve internally, or is just the design of using the resevoir orifice as a mounting point for the device to allow proper fluid from from a secondary master?? The reason I ask is a buddy and I have fabricated a device for the little knock-off hydraulic brake fiddys. I hope that the internal design is nothing fancy. Might be a cheap way to get a hb for any fiddy w/ a disc conversion!!!! Any help would be appreciated!!!!
