Re: high side circles
how fast should i be going into the circle? right now im going pretty slow with the bike almost stalling and once i get into the circle i blip the throttle and make light taps on the brake.

like i said, when i feel my bike start to pull out of the circle, i use the throttle to set it back in.... it forces the rear wheel to track wider because of the extra speed which increase the angle you are leaning at. trust me man, i dont have it backwards, works fine for me, and is helping doodle get better at em...... like i said, it only works for leaned in circles, if you are doing circles, and it starts to stand up on you, when you are learning, it is better to go back and figure out what you did to make it do that, and correct it.
'yes later on, if it stands straight up, you pull in the clutch. let it fall into the circle a bit at a stop, then go again...........

Re: high side circles
and, with 929s especially, it is all about correcting the problem before it happens, because you dont really wann be rippin on that throttle in a circle... on the 13 or 14 up 929 i rode and circled, it was just constant small taps of gas, and lots of keeping it perfect....... once you fall outta the circle like mikie said, your behind and it makes it hard to catch upppppppp.
learning circs, you are probably exactly the speed you need, slow it down, drop it in, and tap the gas to initiate the circle then make adjustments from there
