help clutch

idk no what happened i was clutching my bike up all day and the when i pulled it in to downshift the clutch cable just snapped and felt like there was nothing to it it was just flopping around i was just wondering how much that is to fix if the cable is just broke or something else happpend

all you have to do is buy a new cable.... just go to a salvage yard an see if they have one or buy one from the dealership

you will have nothing at all if you snapped the cable there will be no resistance pretty easy fix, **** even kelm could do this, well? maybe

i pulled the clutch cover off and the retainer that hold the end of the clucth cable on broke in half so its an easy fix but idk how i did it after one day of clutching my97 gix 6
