Best sprocket setup for 02 Gixxer750?
well, i used to have a 02 R1 and most of you know that it doesnt take much for that bike to go up. problem is, the BP is wayyyyyyy too high.
anyways, i sold the 02 R1 and got a 02 Gixxer750 (not in perfect condition)....
the previous owner gave me all kinds of spare parts for it.
right now, the bike sits at -2 in the front and stock in the rear. bike feels torquey and nice.
also, he gave me -1 front, +3 for the back, and stock ones.
my question is, which set up is better?
-1front and +3 rear
or
-2 front and stock rear
or
-2 and +3rear
im more into hwy wheelies...and i only bounce, stand up 2nd gear.
also, i ride the bike around---so i need the drivability also.

I'm -1 on my 00 750, comes up fine in 2nd, just the speedo's off and the more you gear it the less top end speed you have, which you want when you 2nd gear whoolie by a statie. at -1 I think the bike maxes out at 150 or so, so just that makes a pretty big difference. Honestly, you could just leave it stock and clutch and bounce and 2nd is fine, if all you're doing is highway wheelies then why not?
