Bike dying question?

When I ride a lot of times when I come to a stop my bike will die. The engine will just shut off but everything else is fine. Then I have to start it up again. It'll start right up but was just wondering what the hell is this all about. Someone told me it could be my throttle sensor. Any help would be appreciated. This only happens when I'm coming to a a complete stop.

Re: Bike dying question?

Whats your idle at? After I put a pipe on my 04 6 I never adjusted the idle, and sometimes if I would just give it throttle and pull away (no blip to get the revs up) it would die. Doesn`t sound like thats your problem but

Re: Bike dying question?

It Sounds Like Your Grounding Out Some Where --i Had A Simular Prob And It Was My Neg Post On My Batt Was Comming Off And Grounding Out---also Check Your Kick Stand Sensor --i Once Had A Bike That For Some Reason It When I Took Off From A Light It Would Stall And All My Gauges Would Still Be On But I Would Have To Restart The Bike Allllllllll The Time --so If U Do Some Hard Riding --once A Month Take Your Bike Apart(farrings) And Tighten Up All Major Bolts Because The Do Come Loose Sometimes----richard
