Were to cut for scrape bar

Hey just got my racing 905 cage and 12 bar, got the 12 bar all mounted and drilled. Now I'm trying to find out were to cut the tail to accept the new mod. I don't care about the plastics but I don't want to make swiss cheese out of them. Any tips on how to make the marks to cut or should I just sit down with a twelve pack and a dremel.

Re: Were to cut for scrape bar

use a grider and just place the tail over the bar and the subframe, just mark where you want it cut. dont cut too much off......just keep cutting it down till ur happy, dremel works too but it takes a while

Re: Were to cut for scrape bar

alright 6 new castles later and its on. I'm suprised how it came out a little at a time like you guys said. Doesn't look bad at all and I still save enough tail to mount the tail light "like your gonna see it" F it the only thing the tail light was for was for blinkers. Wanted to save them because it's a street/parking lot whip. Oh yeah I put it on my 01 gixxr 750 +24 in the back of course. NO MORE RUNNIN FROM THE PO-PO'S
