R6 sub-frame problem

it's an 02 R6 and the sub-frame bolts(especially the lower ones)keep coming loose I'm not even tapping the tail, just doing slow standups. I have to stop and tighten them after about a half hour of riding...any solutions outthere? post up...thanks

Re: R6 sub-frame problem

get 4 subframe bolts off of an f4i. they are longer and have nuts on the back so they stay tight much longer. i broke three of the stock bolts becuz they kept comin lose then i would hit the bar and they would snap, the f4i ones work mint

will the nuts fit on the lower bolts? the way the frame is shaped the nuts won't fully tighten from the inside...at least not the nuts/bolts I was using.

im not 100% sure becuz i only have 2 f4i bolts and 2 random home depot bolts in right now. if the f4i ones wont fit then just get any old bolt, put it in there and crank it tight with a nut on the back, my lower ones almost never loosen up anymore and i only tighten the top ones every few ride and i use my bar ALOT

Re: R6 sub-frame problem

this is why I posted this question...weird frame angle I'm just thinking the nut should be flush against the frame on the inside. guess it doesn't matter. just picked up some longer bolts and nuts and gonna tigh it as far as it goes. check out the pic...guess everyone's doing the same???
