I have a '98 GSXR 600. All stock, but lowered 2 in.. Only stunts I can do are stoppies (no rolling), christ, and sketchin'. I am getting my valves adjusted here on Friday (hopefully). Used to be a pure twisties guy, still am at heart. But have always loved the stunt side. I have only been riding for 4-5 months. Have been told by many friends that I am well beyond the point of where I SHOULD be at. Reason being from friends, cause I am a bit on the crazy side. But anyhow, enough of that ****...........I want to stunt, and stuntin' it shall be. Wondering what sprocket I should go for. What cage (cause it will save me, thats for sure). Or just save up for a stunt bike since this is the only mode of transportation that I have. If you could just throw a few pointers my way....that would be good. Thanks.

i have an 02 gsxr 750 lowered 2 inches..it doesnt get in the way of my riding at all..no problem for me...I would go with a 10 up sprocket if you ride yours on the road..thats what i have and i love it..but its up to you

How would 8 up or so be. Don't want to kill to much of my top end just in case I decide to hit up some twisties also (but that might end if I go into stuntin). But who knows. Just don't want so a large sprocket that if I decide to go out to the twisties, and hit a corner, and WOT out of the corner and have the front end up lift in a hurry. Just trying to get the best overall for daily rider, twisties, and stuntin'.........kinda sucks. Need to pick up a better job with better pay for a second bike, and things would be easier. But have to use what I have for the time.

yeah..it would be nice to have 2 bikes...you could always start off with a 8 up sprocket..i mean if you want to change it and go up..you can always do that or you can go down or whatever..i ride my bike for crusing sometimes too..well i did when there was no snow on the ground
..but when i did ride it..the 10 up sprocket wasnt to big i didnt think..it was just right..i could still go pretty good and at the same time i could still rock some circles..

you should just save up for a stunt bike, because if you start to drop your bike while learning how to stunt everything wont be the same for the twisty. the bike will not be as well tuned for the twistys. you could bend your wheels practiceing or even kill your suspension or head bearings doing stoppies. then it will be more risky to hit the turns. just my .02

Yeah man I bought a F2 stunt bike for 1000 dollars and still have my mint 02 954 in my garage. Everyone asks me why I don't stunt my 954. I don't think they understand that I want to have a bike that runs every time I start it and doesn't have bent rims and other things that prevent me from enjoying using my bike for commuiting since I don't own a car.
By the way a bike lowered 2 inches makes it real easy to blow your fork seals.

Alright, on to a different topic, and am just going to change it in here.........
Reading the post on "How To Wheelie" I am a bit hyped up. I want to get my bike fixed right now and go out and try. Of course it's easier said than done. I plan on just trying to attack the clutch wheelie. While doing so, for a stock Gix 600 '98 lowered 2 in. how much throttle will be needed. I have never done a wheelie, except for leaving a friends pissed and just dumped the clutch at the light which caused the front to come up a little (which of course caught me off guard). But seeing how easy it SEEMS from reading the thread. I was wondering how easy in fact it really is. So if you could throw some extra pointers my way that woud be great.
Sorry for the large amount of questions. Just want to get a base to work from and understand before getting into a bad habit. Thanks again.....

. I only just started doing spreaders and high chair wheelies, got rolling stoppies and i have been working on skitching and the occasional bulldog. Haven't been game enough to try a christ yet but all in good time. Good luck with it all and let us know how things go

I have a bone stock 98 600 gixxer with the exception of MX bars. The toughest thing for me to get over, coming off of a 900rr was how high I had to wring the rpms when clutching up, and how high the balance point is on that bike. Once your past that it's not bad.
