Arrow 98 F3 headlight problem

This just started happening recently, and is pissing me off. If I ride with my high-beams on for more than 3+ minutes, after I switch back to low-beams, there won't be any. It will just be off. I left it on low-beams the other night, and after I hit like 90 mph, the low-beams came back on again. Wants they are on, they don't flicker or ever go off. Just when I switch to high-beams for awhile, will it have this problem. Any ideas?

Re: 98 F3 headlight problem

it doesnt sound like u need a new headlight, it sounds like a wiring problem, something is loose, or not plugged or something.. check out the wires that go to it, check fuses too..

Re: 98 F3 headlight problem

Behind the headlight there is a cluster of plugs one of those might be not be connected all the way.Check those out.I also have an F3 and the lights stopped working all of a sudden and it was one of those plugs not all the way connected.
