I can't find the sensor I cliped off but heres what I did:
Life up the tank.
There is a little black box with 3 wires running to it Just cut the 3 wires after the clip and befor the box and connect the outer ones. I don't rember exsactly what colors they are but its the outer two. Will run on the bar all day long.

Make sure when you connect the 2 outer wires, you keep the tank up and start the bike just to make sure its the right wires.

The Colors Are Red And Green, It Controls The Fuel Pump So If It Turns On With The Switch Then Youve Got It Right.

Re: 929 shuting off on the bar

I know I'm pretty sure my GS500e wouldn't have a tip sensor, cuz I had the bike on it's side w/ the motor still running and the wheel still spinning. But if I get a 2002 F4i, it would have this sensor am I correct??

YOU ARE CORRECT. SAME COLOR WIRES, THE ONLY DIFFERENCE IS ON THE F4I, THE SENSOR IS LOCATED UNDER THE FRONT FAIRING INSTEAD OF THE TANK/SEAT.

Re: 929 shuting off on the bar

that is not the problem the problem is the air flap in you air box. It did the same thing to me until I took it out. Cause when yuo not on the throttle and the bike is pulling just off idle the air flap is closed so as soon as you let off the gas the flap closes and no air gets to the motor so it stalls. I run on my bar all day and my tip over sensor is connected.

Me too... definetly not the tip sensor.

Only thing I cant do w/ the tip sensor connected is those burnouts when you put one foot on the exhaust, one on the cage and spin around. Rodeo? idk.... they're pretty gay anyway

Re: 929 shuting off on the bar

ohhh Cage burnouts!!! So much fun!!!! I love those things you get so dizzy though. I can do um in like 1st gear rev limiter its crazy. I don't know about the gixxers they might but I think it's just a honda thing cause I work on my buddy Crows bike and he runs on the bar all day and I haven't removed a flap from his ish yet so I think the way the idle adjustment is done on the gixxers might open the flap. Cause on the stock hondas the idle is adjusted by vacum instead of opening the butterflys on the throttle boddies. SO thats why the idle goes up and downa and is all over the place. Thats why you have to install your own idle adjustment on the throttle boddies inbetween the throttle bodies. You can't us the stock one.
