Spittin flamez

So I picked up this F2 (full Vance n hines and supposedly a jet kit installed).

When it gets a little warmer I'll drain the gas (possibly old) and check the plugs but ...

WHAT IS USUALLY THE CULPRIT FOR A BIKE THAT BACKFIRES, I MEAN LIKE KA-POW WITH SEVERAL INCHES OF FLAME/FIRE OUT THE TAIL?

No jokes please....er....ok jokes and advise pls. I'm presuming it is running rich and the fuel is unburnt gasoline.

Re: Spittin flamez

usually that happens when unburned fuel gets into the exhaust and then catches fire. check the plugs, you are probably running rich if it is doing that.

My friend makes it backfire on purpose on his 04 ZZ-R. Shoots 1 foot flames out his pipes. Its loud and annoying as hell, but it looks cool at night. Mine does it too but only when i slam on the gas and then back off real quick

Re: Spittin flamez

umm... if you turn the kill switch off then back on when your bikes in higher RPM's it shoots a huge flame out the exahust with a loud BANG great to do in underpasses to scare the living bajesus outa grandma and kids :YEAH

Im assuming your talkin about it backfiring when you let off the throttle though? My F2 doesnt do that
