should i trade a 929 for a 954, yes or no?
should i trade a 929 for a 954, yes or no?
hey guys i have the chance to trade my 2000 cbr929 plus ALOT of extra parts for a semi stunted 2003 cbr 954. would you guys trade? or what do you guys think would be a good deal for both of us? does anyone know if there's a big difference between stuntin the two bikes. also both bikes are used daily. thanks for your input..
some specs on my bike:
2000 929 = 35,000 miles, clear title
905 cage, F.I. 12 bar, -1 front sprocket, .95 race tech fork springs, scotts dampner, two brothers exhust, carbon fiber clutch, steel braided brake lines, slight bend in the front rim, brand new water pump, and complete set of furry fairings.
here's the extra parts i was going trade along with the bike itself:
17" polished RC component rims (f/b) with matching rear sprocket, complete (headlight to tail light) MINT set of red/white fairings, 1 set of mint f/b black seats, 1 set of mint red/white second look seats, a matching red/white rear seat cowl, carbon fiber intake covers-engine covers-and a chain guard.
the other bike:
2003 cbr 954 11,000 miles, clear title
engine wise it's pretty much all stock, it does have a little damage to the plastic. the front fairing has a crack, fairing stay is bent, the headlight tabs are all broken, both rims are bent - but still work, tank is dented down (yea i know it's better, but i'm not a fan of dented tanks) few scraches on the sides.
i know the miles are high on both bikes, but think about where i live, hawaii we ride the bikes all year round, so yea the miles are very high. too bad our gas prices is 3/gal, costs me about $15 for a nights worth of wheelies. <img src="https://www.stuntlife.com/forums/images/smilies/fauches.gif">

sounds like a dumb idea to me. id just stick with what you got. those hondas will run a longh time if you keep oil in it. you could ebay all the extra **** you got and get 2 spare motors if youre that worried about it

929 is better. my friend wrecked his 929 he loved it. then he got a 954 and he hates it for some reason.. so i would stick with the 929 there is nothing wrong with then and the parts are cheaper.

I got a 929 for Christmas, I have yet to ride it, but I would rather have it than a 954.
I forget who said it, but, "929s stunt themselves". I haven't heard anyone say that about a 954...

sounds like your gonna trade your 929 for a P.O.S? just keep it
now if you were gonna trade a kawi or a suzuki for a 954, then i would think about it
