Question how do you stop an R6 from boggin?

got an 02 R6 and I'm doing slow shi7 and if it's up there too long I can feel it about to stall got my idle upto 4k. Should it be higher? Do I need a catch-can? Let's hear it from everyone out there rockin the R6 nice and slow. Thanks,

mine never boggs down during slow stuff. if i leave it on the bar too long it will chug a little smoke.
i run my idle at 4500 but i have ran it at 4000 and it was fine.

this works best....but if not, you probably need to clean the carb out and test different float heights. eric from no limit uses an r6 and he doesn't have problems. also, i'd turn that idle down, 4k rpms is like a highway wheelie....haha, rock 2500.

also, most bikes don't have very good throttle response under 3k rpms until you adjust the jetting (carbed bikes).

my bike does the same someone told me of a pop bottle how does that work or is it just that the carbs need to be adjusted, cleaned, or jetted????
does anyone know

I had the same problem, syncronized the carbs now its really smooth.

As for the idle I run 3500 to 5000 all day long no problem!
