i skiped over this thread a million times cuz i could care less how to wheelie a katana but i also noticed its been going for a few pages so i decided to take a peek and what i saw in here doesnt surprise me one bit i didnt read all of it but im sure theres some good advice in here. i wish i could add to it but i never rode one before good luck

my brother has an 02 chicken of the sea(katana 600)... that thing is like 6 hundred an something pounds and has like 72 horsepower.... I think my honda civic crx had a shorter wheel base... but yes it will wheelie.... if you can't get it up, find a small hill or bump to compress the front forks and cluth that b!tch( lightly at first, LEARN YOUR BIKE) 1st is easier but will work in second with some practice.

have no fear im trying to get her to ditch that can o tuna and get a real bike, but as far as power its good for her cuz accideltal power whoolies are an X factor with that thing and seat time is crutial more than anything i had to learn that the hard way......ahh well
