Learning balance point but keep falling sideways Guys, bit of advice please. I'm learning balance point, first gear sit-downs and I keep finding that once I pop it up, prior to hitting balance point the bike starts falling to one side or the other. I've noticed that if its falling to the right and I kick my left leg out it stops falling and straightens up. Also, its seems to go with the camber of the road (ie, towards the gutter). What am I doing wrong? How can I fix it and keep going straight? Am I sitting a little crooked, or do I need to in order to counter the camber? It's annoying, popping it up and having to drop it quickly because it's so crooked! Thanks |
Re: Learning balance point but keep falling sideways Running low tire pressure while learning will help with that. It's also a balance thing that your just going to have to learn from practice getting your weight centered. |
Re: Learning balance point but keep falling sideways Ok, cool I'll try that, thanks |

Note to self - check my own pressure after having a service. No wonder it was pulling side to side all the time! |
