question about sprockets

question about sprockets

I have a 07 gsxr 600 and i am turning it into a stunt bike. i need some stunt parts for it. but thats not why im here. i want a bigger sprocket but i dont want to be redlined going 70 soo what sprocket kit and chain do you recommend. 60 tooth in the rear too much?

+7 or -1 +7 dont need any more than that. you dont even need to gear the bike at but thats the gearing i run on most my bikes for street/lot

just put around a 50 tooth on it if all you going to do is highway wheelies....it doesnt take a big sprocket to ride highway and a big sprocket can get annoying because of it running at such a high rpm. Plus you wont be able to keep up with your buds if they decide they want to go fast..been there done that

if hes just gonna ride highway there no sense in gearing the bike at all.

+7 ur gonna be running at about 7500 to 8k rpms at highway speeds compared to around 6k stock. its not noticeable.

right now i have -1 and i can do mile wheelies in 2nd or 3rd i want to make it a lot stunt bike cause im buying a new bike in the spring. but i still wanna be able to ride it to the lot thats y i dont wanna go to big

i rode with a 55 on the highway with my 636 and that was to much....keep it stock since you still want to ride it an the rode like sdfkillz said and you can still ride lots on a stock sprocket and when you get your other bike then you can put your big sprocket on and just haul your bike to the lot
