Streetfighter 1000rr

I was planning on streetfightering my 1000rr. Instead of getting a new triple I was just going to drill and get those HAI risers/bars/brake lines for $199. They also sell the acerbis/cyclops. What do people do with the gauge? Does the stock gauge fit? Do I need to order a different one or do I just remove it? I imagine the toughest part of this job is routing the wires. Is there anything else I need to know or order before I start. Thanks.

Re: Streetfighter 1000rr

Im pretty sure the DB bars are going to hit ur stabilizer. As far as the gauge, u could just leave it where it is and put the new light over it but dam it looks goofy like that. I say pull the gauge and mount it on the bars b/t the risers. Thats how I did mine. Its way cleaner and the SF light can mount to the fork tubes like its designed to.
Tuck the wires under the tank as much as possible too. Keep it clean. Then post pics.

Re: Streetfighter 1000rr

Maybe I will try those Full throttle Darwin Bars on HAI. I guess the GPR will fit with those bars. Thx for info. If I can get this bike looking clean I will put up some pics.
