Stunting a Buell Firebolt
Stunting a Buell Firebolt
Hey there, I just got myself a 2004 Buell XB12Rfirebolt and it needs to be done up for stunting any help or suggestions out there for what gear works best on it as far as a cage and any mods i may have to do to make it stunt-able as the v twin is foreign to me.
Is there an idle adjust i can rig up that's easy to set up and down and what should the idle be at when stunting?
What Cage holds up the best on it?
Is oil, when up-right, a problem for engine starvation?
Where its only air cooled is there any problem with it over heating, can an oil cooler be put on it?
Anything else that is helpful would be great, thx.

Re: Stunting a Buell Firebolt
Powers stuntworks is the only ones that make a cage for buell's. There awsome! http://www.powersstuntworx.com/ Theres no prob with oiling cause its a dry sump. Under the left side air scoop there is a remote idle adjust you can route it around the scoop. There should already be an oil cooler on it. The idle is a bit twitchy, cause its a twin with some reletively big cams. Hope this helps.
